From there, I worked my way up in the foodservice industry including as a Waiter, Cook, Chef, Manager and District Manager for a number of concepts across the Midwest and South.
A former member of the Retail Baker's Association, I trained in pastry before returning to management, which I've been doing for the past 36 years as Operations Manager and, most recently as VP, Operations for an offshore foodservice company, which has about 250 employees providing service on multiple locations. Additionally, I've worked in kitchen/galley design and managed construction projects from planning with the architect to completion.
I've trained hundreds of people during my career in all positions, especially managers at all levels.
Throughout my career, I've been coaching and training people in how to work in a hygienic and safe way. It's always been important to me, and I enjoy working with others to improve safety.
